Mill Creek began as a planned community around a golf course, with the first families and the country club arriving in 1976, and incorporated in 1983. Town Center followed in 2004 and the subdivisions east of the Bothell-Everett Highway filled in through the 2000s. Real Work in Mill Creek
In April 2026 Logan and Willie spent a day on the trim-out of a master bath in the Highlands, working for the builder running the remodel. A freestanding soaker tub was set on its island drain with the floor-mounted filler roughed in beneath it, two widespread lavatory faucets went in with their drains and five new angle stops, and a slide-bar shower system was mounted on the tiled wall. Every fixture was run and checked for leaks before the crew left.
In January Connor and Logan met a new homeowner in north Mill Creek, a week into the house, whose water meter was turning with everything shut off. The wet patch was in the lawn a few feet out from the meter, so the leak was in the service line, which is the homeowner's. They laid out the two honest options: a locate and spot repair, or a replacement of the whole service by directional boring.
The previous October, a few blocks away, a homeowner called about water in the crawl space. Logan and Connor found it was not plumbing at all: the tile on one shower wall had let go, and every shower was sending water through the wall into the crawl. While under the house they capped both sides of an abandoned recirculation pump.

The Original Country-Club Neighborhoods
The neighborhoods around the golf course were built out from 1976 through the 1980s and are approaching fifty years old. Shower cartridges, angle stops, pressure-reducing valves and water heaters tend to give up within a few years of each other, so we check the pressure and the expansion tank on every visit here.
Town Center and the Bothell-Everett Highway Corridor
Town Center's condos, townhomes and shops share walls and stacked plumbing, so a leak in one unit shows up in another, and we are commercially licensed for the shops along the highway.
The Highlands and the East Side Toward 35th Avenue SE
The subdivisions east of the highway went up in the 2000s with PEX supply lines and larger bathrooms, and they are now old enough to be remodeled. Most of our work there is the plumbing scope of those remodels.

Which water district serves my Mill Creek house, and does it change anything?
Mill Creek is split between Alderwood Water & Wastewater District and Silver Lake Water & Sewer District, and both deliver Everett's Spada Lake water, which is soft, so scale is rarely your problem. What changes is who owns the meter and the street side of a leak, and we tell you which district you are in when we arrive.
My meter is spinning with everything off. Is the leak mine or the district's?
If the meter turns with every fixture closed, water is leaving the pipe between the meter and the house, and that pipe is yours. The district owns the meter and the main in the street. We confirm it at the meter, walk the line to the wet spot and lay out a spot repair against a replacement by directional boring.
How far is Mill Creek from your shop?
About twenty minutes. Our shop is in Old Town Mukilteo, and the run out the Speedway to 128th Street and down the Bothell-Everett Highway puts us in Mill Creek without touching I-5 at rush hour. Emergencies go to the front of the line, and routine work is usually scheduled within a few days.
